An intertextual comedy, inspired by Italo Calvino. David is a zealous reader whose earnestness has its charm, but his obsession with a particular text of Italian postmodernism tries the patience of his girlfriend Anne and exposes him to some playful ribbing by his best friend Josh. The movie's comic episodes show that David isn't quite as sharp at reading people as he is at reading texts. Featuring Alex McIsaac III, Jerry Dwyer, Jr., and Judith Kalaora. Shot and edited in the summer and fall of 2012.
